DCCI condoles death of Mohammad Bashiruddin, former Vice President

Former Vice President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) Mohammad Bashiruddin (63), breathed his last on 22 July, 2025 at a city hospital while undergoing treatment in Dhaka (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajeeun).

President of Dhaka Chamber Taskeen Ahmed and members of the board of directors expressed their deepest condolences at his death and extended profound compassion to the bereaved family members.

He served DCCI as the Vice President in 2020. He was born in a respected Muslim family in Old Dhaka in 1962. Mr. Bashir was involved in Food and Bakery Business, Agro-business, Real Estate Development, Importer and Restaurant Chain. He was the Managing Director of Capital Agro Aqua Enterprise Ltd., Capital Siraj Centre Shopping Mall, Canary Ltd., Digital Agro Industries Ltd. He was also the Director of country’s renowned bakery Capital Confectionary.

After his Namaz-e-Janaza held in baily road in front of his residence, later was buried at the Gopibagh Panchayat Committee graveyard.
